South Park Returns With Dead Celebrities

Twice a year we get some new episodes of South Park for 7 weeks and then we have to wait again, so we enjoy while we can. South Park returned to its normal Wednesday night time slot with season 13 episode 8 titled “Dead Celebrities” and it was a top quality episode. Not as good as the episodes “Fatbeard” or “Margaritaville,” but certainly up there.

The episode gets started with little Ike being haunted, seeing ghosts of dead celebrities, mainly Billy Mays who is constantly pitching him products in that loud television voice. During the course of Ike freaking out, he runs down the hallway and opens doors to see more of the deceased, including Farrah Fawcett and David Carradine who still has a rope around his neck. Ike is really scared and his family are all concerned, taking him to see a psychiatrist.

Kyle is very concerned and tells his friends, strangely Cartman seems to care deeply, we find out he is a big fan of Billy Mays and uses a product he endorsed. That sets up a fantastic running joke that runs throughout the episode. The boys call in the team from “THe Ghosthunters” television show and they turn out to be scared of their own shadows and see ghosts in everyone and everything. That leads to Ike being admitted to the hospital where a doctor who specializes in the paranormal explains to the boys that the celebrities may be in purgatory and unable to cross over. Cartman is scared that Billy Mays may not be able to rest.

The doctor reaches out to the spirits and a bunch of dead celebrity voices are heard before Ike becomes possessed with the ghost of Michael Jackson who believes he is a little girl. Meanwhile on a spirit plane, the ghosts of the celebrities are anxiously waiting to cross over and we see that DJ AM and many others are there. The stewards are continually giving them excuses as to why the flight is being delayed and now they have to wait for Michael Jackson.

The boys realize that Jackson is looking for recognition of what he really is so they enter Ike into one of those beauty pageants for little girls and after he wins, Michael Jackson returns to the plane and all the celebrities are able to cross over to their final destination which turns out to be hell. This was a funny and clever episode and you can see clips of it at the Free Video Blog.

Celebrities Tangled Up In Domestic Violence

In the past few months a number of celebrities have been arrested for domestic violence. Whether it is an athlete or a movie star, famous celebrities are not immune to the perils associated with domestic violence. These disturbing incidents only underscore that domestic violence pervades our society at all levels. Some of the more famous arrests in recent months include Charlie Sheen, Tito Ortiz and Corey Dillon.

The star of the hit CBS show, “Two and a Half Men”, was arrested on domestic violence allegations in Aspen, CO in late December 2009. Charlie Sheen was arrested after the Aspen police responded to a 911 call. An ambulance was dispatched to the private residence but nobody was taken to the hospital. Charlie Sheen was booked into Pitkin County jail for investigation of second-degree assault and menacing and criminal mischief. Mr. Sheen spent much of Christmas Day in jail, but was released after posting an ,500 bond. It has been reported recently that Charlie Sheen will end up pleading guilty to one count of misdemeanor criminal mischief for breaking Brooke Mueller’s eyeglasses.

Ultimate Fighting Championship star, Tito Ortiz, recently gained notoriety for fighting outside of the octagon. The former UFC champion was arrested on April 26 for felony domestic violence. Mr. Ortiz was taken into custody by police responding to a 911 call. When the law enforcement officials arrived at the residence shared by Mr. Ortiz, his girlfriend Jenna Jameson and their two sons, they found visible bruises on the former porn star. Tito Ortiz was then booked into a Huntington Beach jail, but was later released on ,000 bail.

Corey Dillon, the four time pro bowl running back, was arrested a few days ago in Calabasas, CA for spousal abuse. Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call from Desiree, his estranged wife, claiming she had been assaulted. Deputies reported that the Patriots and Bengals star’s wife had some minor injuries. Apparently they were arguing over child custody issues related to their upcoming divorce. Mr. Dillon posted a ,000 bail and was later released.

Although trouble and fame often go hand and hand, domestic violence seems to be on the rise. Unfortunately for the celebrities and their spouses, domestic violence can leave long lasting scars to a person’s career, relationship and well being. Hopefully the disturbing trend will not continue and celebrities will learn that they are not above the law.

I never even look at hairstlyes i mostly look at bodies lol but as long as its at least past their ears, its ok i dont think many women look good with your hair although demi moore didnt loook bad in gi jane lol

According to the Media – Celebrities With OCD

OCD, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, is a mental disease that manifests itself in people by making them have thoughts that they can’t shake that cause them to engage in repetitive actions. That’s a very simplified explanation of the disorder, which can have very different symptoms in different people. We’ll talk about the different ways OCD can manifest, and also tell you about some celebrities who are reported to have OCD .

Behind bipolar, depression, and general anxiety, OCD is the most commonly diagnosed mental disorder (meaning it’s fourth). One source says that 1 in 50 American adults has the disorder, which would give credence to the idea that at least a few of our favorite movie stars and other celebrities could suffer from OCD. The severity of the disease differs. Some people feel the need to wash their hands frequently. Others hoard items, and still others can have more violent tendencies. It seems that most of the sources that report on the disorder agree that the root of the disorder comes from a person’s thoughts.

If a person obsesses about germs, they will be inclined to wash their hands a lot. If a person thinks obsessively about things being in their proper place they might check cabinets and drawers very frequently. If a person worries about losing things, they might hoard those things so that they never run out. One could argue that we all do this to a degree, but the point about OCD is that it is behavior that affects your everyday life. It is one thing to care about germs. It is another to wash your hands until they are raw and bleeding. There are varying degrees of this illness just like any other illness.

OCD is not viewed as negatively as it used to be. For goodness sake – sufferers used be thought to be possessed. Nowadays the impulses are recognized as a mere mental disorder and are treated as such. You won’t see OCD on a list of strange illnesses, or on a website devoted to bizarre diseases. Sometimes people decide to have a little bit of fun with the illness, like on the show Monk, or the guidance counselor’s character on the show Glee. There has also been some media coverage on the fact that certain celebrities have been open about their own OCD.

Howie Mandel, for instance, says that he has his OCD to thank for part of his success. If his brain didn’t work the way it does, he wouldn’t be as funny as he is. Wikipedia also tells us that he has been active in trying to get insurance companies to cover therapy costs for OCD.

Remember that guy from Double Dare, the kid’s game show on Nickelodeon? He has Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and even wrote a book about it. Mr. Posh Spice, soccer superstar David Beckham has also been pretty vocal about his own OCD. If you saw that move The Aviator, you saw that Howard Hughes suffered from a pretty severe form of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

Other websites have told us that Charlize Theron, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Alba, Alec Baldwin, Jennifer Love Hewitt all suffer from the disease. And they do just fine, don’t they?
