Question by bea: Hairstyles for thick hair and managing coarse hair?
I have very thick, very dark brown hair and I don’t know what to do with it! It’s also kind of coarse and doesn’t have that very soft feel all the time… are there any good shampoos/conditioners or any treatments to help coarse hair? Also, I’m planning to get a haircut soon and I like my hair kind of long. What are some good hairstyles? Are bangs ok? I kind of admire Lindsay Lohan’s hairstyles:

I have extremely thick and curly hair as well. It is actually nice to have bangs. You can blow dry them in certain types of styles, curl them, or straighten them. They look fine on me. I use a one inch straightener for making pretty beach waves similar to the picture of Lindsay. Just straighten the strand once and then start at the top and twist the straightener away from you once or twice and pull down. Once it gets to the bottom it becomes a cute wave.
