I have extensions too, but my hairs around the same length as hers without the extensions, so i use the extensions to add more curls

My hair is pretty thick and it’s short but not that short. It looks like selena gomez’s bobcut basically and I was wondering how I should curl it? Everytime I curl it, I end up looking like..a huge poodle haha and my hair looks funny and puffy. I have a 1 inch curling iron so should I curl thick or thin strands? I want it to look something like this(not poofy but decent):

yeah use a flat iron look it up on youtube type in curling hair with a flat iron and then it’ll show you step by step good luck
