Celebrities With A Bigger Purpose Making A Bigger Difference

Celebrities can not help the fact they that are so popular. We see them all over television on network television and cable and satellite channels. It is us after all, the adoring fans that create them and make them popular in the first place. If we did not care about what was going on in their lives, they would not become so famous. It might seem to most of us average unknown people that celebrities seem to be really full of themselves, and some defiantly are, but not all of them.

If we keep up to date with the news, not the celebrity stuff, but important world event news, we should realize that there are celebrities that have made room for more things in their lives besides themselves.

So many of the celebrity entertainment programs that we watch, whether they come on network television or on cable or satellite channels, often do a lot more reporting on the latest scandals that the most currently hot celebrities are immersed in. Many of us can not resist interest in who has done what and to whom. It is human nature to want to listen to gossip, especially if it is true.

Something more important about human nature is hopefully a common desire to help others and in some way make a substantial contribution to the society we live in. Sometimes the stir that some celebrities cause by what project they are working on or what trouble some have gotten themselves into, can overshadow the tremendous humanitarian works that many other famous ones are involved in.

The musician known as Bono, who has been the lead singer and lyricist of the famous group, U2 has become known world wide not only for his music, but also for his humanitarian efforts in Africa. He has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and was given the status of honorary knighthood in the United Kingdom.

Other celebrities following his lead, especially concerning Africa, are Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, and George Clooney. They are using their status to promote attention to the deplorable conditions of the people in Darfur in Sudan, Africa. Pitt and Jolie have adopted one orphan child from Cambodia and one from Ethiopia. Oprah Winfrey has recently started an all girl school for underprivileged girls in South Africa.

It would not be fair to leave out a lesser known actor and comedian that constantly encourages a greener and better world. Ed Begley Jr. has played characters in several television shows and has become an outspoken activist for all things green or things good for our planet. He promotes all kinds of environmentally friendly products and currently has a show on HGTV called Living with Ed.

So the next time you think some celebrities are just more pretty faces, look a little closer and you might see something a little more substantial.

Celebrity Breast Implants Make a Large Difference

Breast implants are one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed on females. While many women across the world have this procedure, most news certainly seems to revolve around celebrities who have undergone the procedure. One of the reasons for this is that we are simply a celebrity obsessed culture. We look to television, music, and movie stars as examples of what a woman should look like, and we find many different examples. There are many celebrities who have had breast implants for various reasons, and here is a look at just a few of them.

A unique choice of breast implants has been chosen by Victoria Beckham of the Spice Girls and wife to England footballer David Beckham. While many celebrities choose to have subtle implant procedures, Beckham chose rather large implants that are quite prominent for her body type. Many surgeons as a rule would most likely advise against the procedure, yet Beckham has managed to create a very stylish and elegant look for herself, proving that sometimes the success of the surgery is also about the personality and style of the patient.

Demi Moore is another example of a celebrity who has undergone the breast augmentation procedure. Moore has had multiple surgeries, changing from smaller to larger breasts on a few occasions. She has always chosen her surgeons well, however, and her breasts have always suited her natural physique, which is the true hallmark of quality augmentation.

Perhaps no celebrity breast augmentation has garnered more attention lately than that of Christina Applegate. Upon learning that she had a tumour in one of her breasts, the star of many hit television shows opted for a double mastectomy augmentation surgery during which she received double implants. The procedure provided great medical benefit to Applegate, and has left her looking as stunningly gorgeous as ever. One of the biggest benefits has been that it has changed the public opinion about breast augmentation. Applegate’s case has helped people realise that breast augmentations hold a very valid place in society and can offer great benefit to people who have cancer or are at high risk of developing it.

Celebrity breast augmentations are common. While each case is different, all of the celebrities listed here found the best surgeons for their cases. If you are considering breast augmentation surgery, look into the reputation and record of your provider. With the right surgeon, you can get implants that improve your body image while fully suiting your body style and physique.

The BMW film series, “The Hire” was a series of eight short films (each about eight minutes long, on average) produced for the Internet in 2001 and 2002. A form of branded content, all eight films featured popular directors from across the globe, starred Clive Owen as the “Driver”, and highlighted the performance aspects of various BMW automobiles. “Star” (2001) The Driver is chosen by a spoiled and shallow celebrity to drive her to a venue. Unbeknownst to her, her manager has actually hired the Driver to teach the celebrity a lesson. Pretending to escape her pursuing bodyguards, the Driver recklessly drives through the city, tossing the hapless celebrity all around the backseat. They arrive at the venue, where she is thrown out of the car and photographed by paparazzi in an embarrassing end on the red carpet. * with Madonna * Directed by Guy Ritchie * Featured the BMW M5 Goofs: * Continuity: When the BMW M5 makes the final handbrake turn it has four tailpipes in the beginning of the turn, but clearly only two right before it stops. This is by far one of Madonna’s funniest appearances in a film. Enjoy it!!!
