Question by I <3 ? by Taylor Swift XD: Hair dying help please?
earlier i tried to dye my hair which WAS brown. light brown like this

oh and that isn’t me. i found that pic on google lol
lyk the 1 on the right
and i tried to dye my hair blonde
it ended up more like this

so i dyed it again [blonde]
and now its this colour

but a little lighter

so my question would be;
how do i get my hair blonde?
i would not be able to stand dying it again today
my head hurts too badly from the second time
i am hoping to have it blonde by easter so when i see this guy i like at church its that colour

You have dyed it, so the only way to lighten it is to bleach that color out. Then you will have to tone it a color like 8A, 9A, or 10A… and no, you will not be blonde by Easter unless you want to deal with massive hair breakage. You need to wait a couple of days and follow it with an intense conditioning regiment.

1. Always see a proffesional when going blonder.
2. Remember you are going to have to do this ever 4 weeks or you will have roots.
3. I would personally just get blond blond highlights and not dye my whole head.

Wait until your in your 30s and HAVE to dye your hair ever month to stop the gray!

How damaged would it be if I went back to my natural color? i did the same thing. had light blonde hair and went to black and it took me a year to get back.
this is because i refused to bleach my hair because then all my natural hair color underneath the dye would be gone. i just kept dying it lighter and lighter every month. finally in may i got it pretty blonde and then the sun naturally lightened my hair over the summer. good luck, it might take a while.
