Question by tina amphy: Would a short Korean hairstyle work with African American hair and a round face?
I want to get a short Korean hairstyle because it seems to be more manageable. But, before I get it, I want to know if getting that kind of hairstyle is okay with my face shape and hair texture.

I have African American hair meaning it’s coarse and thick.
I also have a round face.
Here’s two pictures of me that will hopefully let you see my face shape.

I think you get the idea of the hairstyle I want.
So, would it work for me?
If not, please give me a short hairstyle similar to the one I posted above that would work for me.

I think it would look reallyy cutee. You should so do it! but only if you want to, and it shouldn’t matter what others think you should..do what you want to do.

don’t do something as drastic as rihanna’s because if you end up not liking it, there’s nothing you can do except wait for it to grow out.
do something like victoria’s hairstyle, but a bit longer so you can at least pull some of your hair up into a ponytail.

My hair colour will stay the same – black. Also, my hair can become flat at times so these hairstyles won’t be as voluminous as they look. I’m specifically looking for bangs. Btw, any tips on my appearance would be great.

Question by EsmerIan: I downloaded Sims 2 meshes, now I am missing my “pick a face”, all elegent wear looks ike newspaper print etc?
So I started downloading some skins, hair styles and clothing for my Sims 2. But after I had uploaded them onto my game and went into “create a character” mode. The premade celebrity skins were not as they were supposed to look ex. same faces but regular sim hairstyle and random clothes. Or when I went into the extra hairstyle bits all the heads had bland black straight hair. And when I went into elegent wear all the characters had the outfit shape on… but the dress was covered in what looks like numbers. THEN when I go into “pick a head” all the heads are invisible.

OK so does anyone know what the fuck happened and how I can get the downloads to work?

Note: Hair is horribly straightened in the last one. That was before I got my Sedu for Christmas, but I like to keep my hair curly. Except for the side bangs, if I decide to get them.
One last edit. Does anyone know any silicone-free products (preferably with not too much alcohol or sodium laureth/laurel sulfate) to keep your curls looking fresh, shiny, and frizz-free?

well, long layers make your hair curlier, so if yu want curly hair go for that.

short layers sometimes make peoples faces look fatter, so i dont knowif that will work.

yu could straigthen it & get bangs like herrr

Sounds just like my hair! I suggest the short and choppy about chin length, give or take a little, with a sweeping bang and framed around the face. If you really don’t want the short and choppy, try middle of the neck length with the framing around the face and sweeping bang. Since you have thick hair, if you want to thin it out get layers and it’ll take a lot of weight off.
In short, whatever length you decide on, with the round face, I’d have them frame it around your face. I personally love the sweeping bang, too, so maybe try that!
