Female Celebrity Pictures Provide View of Society

Most of us can have the most interesting responses when looking at something as common as celebrity pictures. Standard responses can vary from, ‘Oh look how lovely her dress is, I wonder who the designer is’ to ‘Oh my God she has gotten so much work done and you can’t tell me those are real’.

We find these pictures useful in so many different ways, contradictory ways. To find out what the latest fashions and flare the greatest or, most famous of us anyway are wearing so we can copy them. At the same time look for flaws that the most famous of exhibit in order to bring them down or keep them at our regular level.

If they are known and remembered, then it is also possible for us to to be. One could say it is a bizarre sort of ‘God complex’ for the masses struggling to find purpose and meaning in their lives. A strange, superficial way to try fill the emptiness.

One can even think of it as the poor man’s form of psycho-analysis and this is his or rather her way of transferring a need or weakness onto the celebrity in any given picture and the story behind that particular picture or group of pictures. Thus he/she sees their weaknesses in the subject and in return can reverse transfer the strengths of the subject in the picture onto him/herself.

What is it saying about us in we look and criticize the above average achievements of a human being like us. A human being who despite having weaknesses like ours they were still able to achieve some pretty great things. For the sake of argument, let us just ignore ‘pop-culture’ frauds shall we.

If we are honest with ourselves than we have to accept our own ‘failures’ and ‘inadequacies’ and this is when things can get really interesting, for the good or for the better for all and for ourselves, once again depending on what kind of person we are or what kind of attitude we subscribe to.

There are two paths each of us can follow in relation to the subject at hand. We can follow the lives of the celebrity in the pictures in anticipation of their downfall. ‘Show we common fame and I will show you nothing more false and foolish’ as F. Scott Fitzgerald said. This path is, of course the easy way out, the ‘house built on sand’ so to speak and thus will be of no use to us in the long run because of the total lack of effort but in to it from ourselves will derive us no benefit whatsoever.

Alternatively we can recognise that there is always to do in our lives, and ore to accomplish. We can use the celebrity in the picture as an example of what can be done, what can be accomplished. What one man or woman can do, another man or woman can do. That is the way to live. ‘Do not go quietly into that goodnight, rage, rage with the dying of the light’ as the poet wrote. Oh well, it’s better than sitting around doing nothing.

I’ve got a round face, and i’m always looking at hairstyles for round faces cause it seems so hard to get a hairstyle that’s right for my face shape.
I did have a Victorian Bob, but that has grew out now & my hair is now just above my shoulders. I want to grow it now though cause i’ve had my time having it short and i’ve been dying for it to be long so i can actually experiment and do something with it instead of putting it up or straightening it all the time.
I’ve heard of celebrities that have round faces, but when i look at their hairstyles they never seem to have a round face.
I’ve got some websites that have celebrities with round faces on there, & advice/tips and all that.

I know of a couple of celebrities that have round faces:
Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Charlotte Church & Kelly Clarkson.
When i’ve looked at their hairstyles they don’t look like they have roundfaces what so ever.

Can someone name some other celebs, or re-assure me that these celebs have got round faces?

My husband and I are really fond of the pixie haircut on women, if it’s well styled and suited for the face. I also like other cute short women hairstyles. I wear a pixie a lot like Halle Berry from Swordfish myself. Anyway, who is your favorite short haired actress/singer/etc? I like Halle Berry’s hair in Die Another Day or Swordfish and Winona Ryder’s from Alien Resurrection. My husband likes Natalie Portman’s pixie as she grows out her hair and Charlize Theron back when she wore a pixie. My brother said he likes Janine Turner from Northern Exposure and Alyssa Milano with a pixie.
