I’m getting my hair cut soon, and I want it to be short with choppy layers.
I also want the front pieces around my face to be slightly longer than the rest of my hair…kind of like an a-line cut, except not as short in the back.

I often see the hairstyle I want on many celebrities but whenever I’ve tried to describe it to my barber, it always comes out looking crappy. When I look up men’s hairstyles online, many of the ones I like are described as “layered” hairstyles. If I ask for a layered hairstyle vs. just asking for “shorter on the sides and back, longer on top,” what’s the difference?

It means that your hair is at different lengths.
I have them.
The lowest level is the longest and then you have choppy shorter layers more to the top of your head.

Ok, so tomorrow I’m probably getting my hair layered. I just have no clue how. My mom said it would be a good idea to bring a picture of what I’d like. Any ideas? My hair right now is a few inches past a my shoulders at the moment, but I’d like it trimmed to about my shoulders, then layered, but I don’t know how I want it layered. I do NOT want short hair or a bob. My hair is pretty thick. Does anyone know of any celebrity that has a good hairstyle that you’d think I’d like? Or a picture of someone with a good hairstyle? what about looking at pics of Rhianna or posh spice, i know they have short cropped hair now but they used to have it layered to the shoulders, i recon it looks hot!! good luck

I’m looking to get my hair layered and want to bring a pic to my hairstylist (they’re kind of expensive so they kind of have lots of interpretations of each style so I want to bring a pic lol). Do you guys know any CELEBRITY layered hairstyles that are really nice?
