Question by Brandace: What length would my hair have to be to do this style and could it be done by perm?
I really love this hairstyle but I need to know how long my hair would have to be, as it is very short right now. And also, can it be achieved by getting some kind of perm rather than curling it everyday???

It appears if you took that top curl kind of hanging below the rest to the right eye of hers it looks like the curl would pull to the bottom of her nose or top of lip. That’s probably how long it should be. Because the curls obviously curl up in length. I would think some kind of perm would do it but I’m not sure. Her hair looks thick too. I would consult with your hair stylist or a new hair stylist who may have a different vision that your stylist you’ve been using for awhile. I love this cut. Wish I could use it. i have natural curly hair but when it grows longer it pulls the curl out because it is so thin. Just don’t get frustrated with your hair while it is growing out. Be patient or it will never achieve the look you want. make sure you use good products on your hair. Not the kind at the grocery store but some good ones I use or have used are aveda and phyto products. Here are a couple of sights for the products you can also google and find more probably close to you. I love phyto products. They are expensive but well worth it.
