If you knew the life of the people standing behind you in that supermarket lane – you just might start following them instead of the celebrity scandal filled tabloids.

The latest gossip on celebrity scandals with the sometimes manipulated pictures of celebs are just mirrors of society. Celebrity scandals are created with the latest gossip and mixed with pictures of the celebs and topped with scandalous topics that fill the courts, bedrooms and hospital rehab centers around the world. Teen pregnancies hardly make the news. Real people have sex, do drugs, party, fight with their best friend, have an affair, fight for custody, divorce, get arrested in a bar fight, and enter rehab. Celebrity scandals exist in your neighborhood – but without the celebrities.

We look at Hollywood celebrities and pictures of celebs involved in the latest celebrity scandal, we hear the latest gossip surrounding the celebrities lives, and wonder why are these beautiful rich people succumbing to the problems of the real world. Maybe they’re people too. Real rich people. Rich people who should be role models – and who should have a clue that the world is watching them. But celebrities also suffer from being needy for attention, low self-esteem, obsessiveness, compulsiveness – and the effects of their environment. Just as a child raised around drugs is more likely to do drugs – a celebrity raised in Hollywood is more likely to “do as Hollywood does” – and that’s party. There’s no doubt that partying leads to loose inhibitions, addictions and celebrity scandals. And celebrity parties are great for finding the latest gossip and snapping some unsuspecting shots of pictures of celebs participating in questionable actions.

Celebrity scandals promote the celebrities. Celebrities don’t choose their problems – but they can turn their problems into a healthy and beneficial promotional tool. A drug scandal can turn around into an anti-drug campaign. An anorexic celebrity will sell more books on “how to heal thyself” than the teenage girl down the street. And that celebrity book might just save that anorexic teenager. The celebrity jailbird picking up trash because of a judge’s order can now become an environmental evangelist.

Not all celebrity scandals can be turned into a healthy promotional tool – but pictures of celebs plastered over celebrity websites, tabloids and entertainment channels keeps the celebrity in full view of the public’s eye – so the celebrity can’t be forgotten. Can anyone truly forget Brittney Spears while she’s in the news – even if they really want to?

Celebrity scandals powered by the latest gossip and unforgettable pictures of celebs are just pictures of reality television videotaping the inside lives of everyone in the local supermarket express lane. But celebrity scandals are safe. (And more fun.) We can talk bad about celebrities and nobody’s feelings will be hurt. We can pity the celebrities because we know how they feel. We can love them or hate them, but chances are we’ll never meet them. A celebrity scandal without our involvement and only our opinion makes celebrity scandals easy on the soul.

Celebrities have gotten into the craze of reality tv. Watching celebrities and their families on television going through their daily life have become hit tv shows. There are many celebrities letting the cameras in on their daily routines.

Meet The Osbournes is a show with Ozzie Osbourne and his family. Ozzie, Sharon, Jack and Kelly let the cameras into their homes so their fans can see how they live. It is entertaining watching Ozzie the dad preparing for his rock concerts and how Sharon supported him. Sharon touched us by the way she had courage during her cancer. Their show really gave you a look into their lives and how they were as a family unit. Their behavior and language can be erratic at times but they come across on this hit show as a very close and loving family.

Christopher Knight aka Peter Brady and Adrian Curry get married on live television this past May 2006. This was a fun show watching Christopher and Adrian making plans for their wedding with their emotions running high. In the end it appeared this experience actually brought them closer. They make a great couple. Chris and Adrian actually met on another reality show The Surreal Life.

Hulk Hogan and his family got behind the cameras in Hogan Knows Best! In this reality show you see how Hulk and Linda work together as parents to bring up their two teenage kids Brooke and Nick. Watch Brooke launch her music career with the support of her family. Nick like Dad gets the wrestling bug. Hogan shows him some tricks of the trade and talks to him about the importance of showmanship and signs him up for acting classes.

It appears Hogan’s grill is more versatile than the Foreman grill.

Two reality shows with the main characters in the news lately is Dog “The Bounty Hunter” and Anna Nicole Smith. Anna Nicole Smith is going through an unthinkable tragedy with the sudden loss of her son Daniel Smith just days after giving birth to her baby daughter. The Dog is having problems with the Mexican Authorities.

Anna Nicole Smith’s real name is Vickie Lynn Hogan born November 28, 1967 in Houston, Texas. The Anna Nicole Show debuted Sunday, August 4, 2002 on E!, and was inspired by the hit MTV reality series The Osbournes .

The Bounty Hunter Dwayne “Dog” Chapman, son Leland Chapman and brother Timothy Chapman have found themselves in trouble with the Mexican authorities for their capture of Max Factor cosmetics company heir Andrew Luster on June 18, 2003, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The Dog and his family of bounty hunters were trying to make this world a safer place by getting a fugitive rapist off the streets. Hopefully this will all get cleared up and Dog and his family can put this behind them and not have to spend anymore time in a Mexican Jail.

Pass me that spoon, I’ve got some eyes need a-gouging.

Anyone remember Makosi? The Big Brother 6 “star” was out and about at a charity fundraiser for Zimbabwe, wearing a retina-searing shocking pink frock. She was joined by Noisettes singer Shingai Shoniwa, and Sabrina Washington, the one out of Mis-Teeq who was on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! – well, one reality TV star out of two ain’t bad.

And so we inevitably come to the current and probably eternal Queen of Reality, Mrs/Miss/Ms Cheryl Cole/Tweedy/Kerl. It will comes as a surprise to precisely nobody to discover that Chezza’s been voted the best-dressed female celebrity by Glamour magazine. Katie Price – the anti-Cheryl, if you will – has of course had her own frequent brushes with reality TV, but not even several ITV2 series could prepare her for the ear-bashing she got when taking a disabled parking space t’other day.
