Question by Angel B: how do i get REALLY big curls without using rollers or curling irons? PICS!!?
i have very straight hair… that is like 3 inches below my shoulder. i really want big curls, but i dont have rollers, and i dont like using curling irons because my hair is very thin so they dont hold or work well….. what can i do?? like putting it up in a bun while its still wet, letting it dry, then taking it out?? but when i do that, it ends up very frizzy….

just curl your hair like you normally do and when you take it out put some mousse on your roots and all through out your hair and if that doesnt work then use a straightner to curl your hair, if dont know how look it up on youtube.com they have tons of videos and then seperate your hair with your fingers! Hey guys, sorry for freaking out in the top part of my question, but tomorrow I am getting my haircut, and I need you to do something for me. I have made up my mind that I want my hair exactly like this:

I recently went blonde and my hair is growing a lot faster than I’d like. I see many girls including celebrities who have roots and it doesn’t look all that tacky on them, but I probably have a little more than a fourth of an inch of roots and for some reason they seem incredibly tacky on me.
Am I just being too hard on my self? Maybe it’s the way I part my hair.
When is enough enough? half inch? 3/4 inch??? Does anyone have some hairstyle suggestions that won’t draw attention to them?

if you own a straightening iron 1″ you can get these curls. Put aside a few days before to practice its hard to get used to but works amazing when you get the hang of it.
Take small sections of your hair.
Place the iron at the root of your hair, while holding the ends with the other hand.
flip the iron in your hands so that the side of the iron that was facing outward is now facing your head.
pull the iron through your hair and you will have a curl.
strange but it works great and will last hours ( when i was trying to learn to do it and messed up id try and restraighen the hair but you just cant get kink of the curls out.
I use a chi flat iron. The directions are confusing i know if you want to see how to do it you can go to you tube and search how to straighten your hair with a chi flat iron. You will find a lot of people showing you how.
Good Luck. Looks great once you get the hang of it!

update: try borrowing a striaghtener from a friend. You can get big curls with a large iron but they will just fall out by the end of the night and you will have straight hair with an undercurl at the end. Or use a smaller iron and brush the curls out with fingers it will start to fall out into bigger curls and then you hairspray them so they will stay in for the whole night.
