Question by Ashley: Helping Brother Win 0 Prize During Spirit Week. Need Links!!!!?
Okay so here’s the deal. My brother is in high-school and I’m in college. His school does a yearly spirit week where everyday they dress up funny. One of the days is the surprise $ 100 prize day. We have found out it is tomorrow which is also celebrity gender-bender day. This is where the boys dress up like celeb females and the girls celeb males. I’m helping my brother become the sexiest one in school. I have chosen five that I think he would win with. They are Paris Hilton, J Lo, Lauren Conrad, Lady Gaga, and Christina Aguilara. I want to know which one I should do and need photos and links to outfits, shoes, nail colors, hairstyles (shoulder), and makeup.

Thanx

Fashion Week Revealed

The fall ’09 at New York Fashion Week debuted styles infused in ’70s couture, punk and hard rock roots. Labels unveiled their fall 2008 lines, and continued the retro bent popular in the world’s largest fashion show. Unafraid to take risks, Designers unveiled elaborate variations which called for sequins, ribbons and large bows, the latter of which was another nod to late ’70s fashion and experimented with knit fabric as well as coats to complement the dress. The miniskirts were back in vogue, partnered with tights, which were widely expected to go out of fashion for 2009.

The idea of ’70s couture and modernized it was to deem the collections an “eclectic glamour”. Retro styles such as bow blouses, pants bordering on the bell-bottom design, and peasant fashions were interspersed with more modern knits, silk and plaid designs for tops, dresses and jackets, respectively.

The captivating looks were created by folding single pieces of jewel-toned silk twill and wool Melton. An unmistakable ’70s vibe ran through the collections, from floppy hats to velvet pants to the metallic sheen on just about everything. Models were out wearing black biker jackets, leather dresses and super slim tuxedo jackets looking like squeaky-clean 80s-punk rebels.

Soft, delicate beaded silk chiffon tops and dresses were paired with a slew of Skittles-colored parkas, cropped shear ling coats and little metallic jackets. With few exceptions, the overwhelming theme was “old is new” and that the ’70s were even more in fashion than the shows
